Long-term strategy to improve efficiency:It is possible to organize several high-cost educational
programs, which will be of demand because of their uniqueness, the class size should be significant.Say,
there is a great MBA program suggested at Temple. But it requires work experience. Many students today
dream about the MBA, but because they have a short working history, they don`t apply. It is possible to
create an MBA program for such students, which would be 2 times more expensive than ordinary MBA,
the class size could be about 1,5 times bigger as well. The program will require that students complete the
work terms during their studies (the placements should be provided by Temple). I`ve heard that in Canada
such programs already exist and they are extremely popular. This will soon come to the US, Temple
could be a pioneer.

Install bathrooms that need a quarter for single use. My job has did this and makes over $10,000 a year!

Maybe you can start a taxi service upto ambler campus. Get a few golf carts and charge a small fee of
.50 for a ride to whatever building the student needs to goto. I am sure a student would love to do this job
for tips. Think about it, in 4-5 hours you can cart3 students every 5 minutes. In one hour you can run
approx. 30-35 students that would equal about $15 per hour in tips if everyone leaves the additional .50
for the cartrider.

charge exactly one penny to get into the tech center.

Raise parking rates which will bring in added revenue and encourage public transit use. This measure
ideally would extend to all employees.

Having parking by the hour might generate extra income for the University. Designate a parking lot that
charges by the hour. This will get some cars off the meter into a Temple lot and Temple will receive the
"monies" not the city. Some folks don`t want to spend $10 - $12 if they are only visiting Temple for a
short time. However, please give consideration (discounts) to employees.

PAVE THE DIRT LOT AND CHARGE A DOLLAR A DAY TO PARK OR A WEEK PASS FOR $4. Try and
do it with other lots too. That lot is chaos and the madness must be stopped.

cafeteria should have some sort of menu of what is for dinner so students know not to use their meal
plan if it is something they do no like.

it would make great sense to allow students to order their food before they get to the SAC for lunch. the
keyosks were good but they could be placed somewhere else that way you dont have worry standing in
line to pay. lets say you order from the keyosks and then you should be able to pay at the keyosks. it
would cut down on the number of people waiting in line to pay.

"No Tray Day," once a month, in the cafeteria to save on water and cleaning costs.

Suggestion
Try and get the various food truck vendors around campus to cut down on waste. It will not only save
them money but save Temple the cost of removing it. After all, they are frequented mainly by students.

Fine cars that take up more than one parking space!!
