2012 Tax Rates

The Social Security Tax Rate for employees is 4.2% through the end of 2012, with maximum taxable earnings of $110,100.  (Source: Social Security Administration Website)

Medicare tax rate is 1.45% with no maximum wage base limit.

PA State Personal Income tax rate is 3.07%

PA state Unemployment tax rate is .08%

City of Philadelphia Wage tax rates remain at 3.928% for Philadelphia resident and 3.4985% for non-residents

The monthly Pre-Tax limit for transportation is $125 and the monthly Pre-Tax limit for Parking is $240.
