Labor and Employee Relations






Labor and Employee Relations negotiates and administers collective bargaining agreements on behalf of Temple University and ensures compliance of all University policies, rules of conduct, federal, state, and local employment laws.

It resolves employee/management disputes involving union and non-union employees, provides guidance to supervisors and administrators concerning discipline, conducts grievance hearings, and participates in arbitrations and other administrative proceedings.

The Labor and Employee Relations unit also acts as a liaison between departments and Human Resources, assists with department reorganizations, manages unemployment compensation and attend unemployment compensation hearings, coordinate all requests for ADA Amendments Act, and conducts exit interviews.
