What is Long-Term Care Insurance?
Long-term care (LTC) insurance is a policy that assists with the cost of services such as long-term nursing facilities, home health care, and assisted living care. An LTC policy provides benefits if an individual is no longer able to perform some of the normal activities of daily living like eating, bathing, dressing, etc.
Why Should I consider LTC?
LTC may be an important issue for you to consider. Many people think that that LTC insurance is only an issue just for the elderly. However, long-term care situations can arise at any age due to illnesses or accidents.
