Health and Welfare Benefits for 1199C and PTEA Bargaining Unit Employees
Heath and Welfare Benefits open enrollment begins Thursday, October 31, 2013 through Friday, November 15, 2013 with a January 1, 2014 effective date.
In accordance with the Collective Bargaining agreement, all full time and regular part time employees (scheduled for 20 hours per week or more), have the opportunity to elect to switch their health and welfare benefits from 1199C Health and Welfare fund plan to Temple University's benefits package or vice versa.
The open enrollment period begins Thursday, October 31, 2013 and ends on Friday, November 15, 2013. Your benefits elections will be effective January 1, 2014.
Your present benefits package will continue unless you elect to make a change.
Employees who wish to make a change must complete and return the Benefits Election Form. Employees electing Temple benefits must also complete and return the benefit enrollment forms for each benefit plan option. The forms must be returned to the Benefits Office no later than Friday, November 15, 2013.
