English & Organizational Leadership Communications

Doylestown, PA

"My name is PJ Raduta and I come from the rolling hills of Doylestown, PA. I am tackling a double major in English and Organizational Communications, planning to eventually enter the field of education.

You may be asking yourself, what is this Honors thing really about? There are many answers to this question.... and for the record: Honor students are not a bunch of super-nerds or academic terminators, but normal people who learned to take advantage of these really cool opportunities available to them.

In fact, when I look at the Honors program that's what I see: a wealth of opportunity. No matter what your desire is, Honors will help you do it. Last year I involved myself with the Honors Activities Board, a student organization that promotes academic, social, and community service events as the freshman housing representative.  This year I am the President, providing more opportunity to develop my leadership abilities.  From addressing honors students who have completed their program requirements to attending a national honors conference, I have had such wonderful opportunity that has helped me grow and learn as a student and young man.

Honors is fabulous at building personal relationships with all of its students. My Honors advisors guide me in all aspects of life--they helped me decide my majors, found ways for me to involve myself on campus, and told me when my clothes did not match. What else could you ask for?"
