Nehad Khader '07Sociology & English Philadelphia, PA "My name is Nehad, and I am a senior Sociology and English double major. I am from Philadelphia, PA, and a graduate of Central High School. The Temple Honors program has been one of my most encouraging and uplifting experiences at Temple. Through the unconditional support of the Honors staff, and especially through the commitment of Dr. Ruth Ost, I applied for as was a finalist for both the Rhodes and the Marshall Scholarships. Dr. Ost spent her weekends in her office with me, pushing me to the brink, challenging my concepts and ideas, in order to prepare me for the most memorable interviews of my life. I learned more about myself and my aspirations in those three months than I have ever before. Honors is my home and my family at Temple Unviersity."
