Josh DurandoGraduate InternThis semester, Honors is happy to welcome Josh as our Spring 2009 Graduate Intern. Josh will be be working in the office for academic credit as part of his Master's program here at Temple. Originally from North Jersey, Josh decided to venture away from home to go to college. After nearly going to culinary school, he decided to attend Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia to pursue his undergraduate degree. Once there, he had a hard time discovering what it was he actually wanted to do with his life. After switching from English to Undeclared to Marketing, he graduated in May (2008) with a degree in Sociology with minors in Business and Social Justice. Outside of the classroom he enjoyed being involved with Orientation, the Student Union Board, Service Immersion Programs and the Annual Spring Concert. He decided to turn his love for Student Affairs into a career path and is pursuing a Master's Degree in Educational Administration- Higher Education at Temple. In addition to his internship in Honors, he also works in the Dean of Students Office on Leadership Development. He is very excited to be working in Honors. The Hawk Will Never Die! (but the Owl is pretty cool, too!) |
