Hari AminBiology Doylestown, PA "Namaste (hello), my name is Hari Amin, and I am a freshman honors student from the class of 2010! Originally I am from Northeast Philadelphia, but I currently live in Doylestown, Pennsylvania where I enjoyed my lovely high school days at Central Bucks HS West and South. Here at Temple University, I am a biology major / pre-med. I was also selected to be a Med Scholar. The wonderful Honors Program here at Temple University has helped pave the way for an extremely smooth transition into college life. From move-in day, my honors experience has been nothing but special. And let’s not forget about classes. How many students can say they have a class in the residence hall where they live... on their floor?! Waking up a few minutes before class starts and just walking down the hall to get there is the greatest feeling in the world.
Honors has been my gateway to becoming involved in my community, mainly through service activities planned by HAB. Cleaning roadways, painting elementary schools, and teaching children have added another dimension to college life which I could not have found at another university. Honors has been an excellent program which has enriched my college experience and continues to fill me with unforgettable memories."
