Gabe CutrufelloGraduate AssistantGabriel Cutrufello grew-up just outside of Philadelphia and received his BSED in English from West Chester University. As soon as he finished his undergraduate career, Gabe moved to San Diego, California and eventually put those teaching skills to good use working for the San Diego Unified School District as a high school English teacher. While living in San Diego, Gabe realized he wanted to return to the serious study of literature and pursued a full-time masters degree at San Diego State University. He completed that degree in the Spring of 2006 and promptly moved back to Philadelphia to attend the PhD Literature Program at Temple University. Gabe has experience teaching literature and composition studies at San Diego State University and Temple University. He joined the Honors Program in the Fall of 2007 as a Graduate Extern, but if you want to see more of him, you can walk down the hall to the university’s writing center where he also works. Besides reading copious amounts of literary and theoretical texts, Gabe likes to water his tomato plants, bike around the city, and watch cartoons.
