Brad PearsonAcademic AdvisorAfter spending four fantastic years at the College of William and Mary, Brad was faced with the decision that many graduates face: What to do next? In his first year out, Brad wrote for a music magazine, waited tables, and worked in human resources. None seemed to pique his career interest, though. He soon realized that his most enjoyable working experience came as an undergraduate in student affairs, so he decided to return to the field for graduate studies. Brad graduated from James Madison University with his master’s in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in College Student Personnel Administration in May 2008. While getting his degree, he worked as a career and academic advisor to the school’s undergraduates, as well as an assistant in JMU’s International Programs office. He’s looking forward to getting to know the incredible students in Temple Honors—come by anytime to chat about school, jobs, music, or how you can do almost anything with a degree in history.
