In an email from Denis - 12/15/2007
"Hey, its Denis... telling you about my trip. I'm landing in Chennai, India on January 15th and then riding a bike west then north for a month to get to New Delhi. From there, I fly to Tel Aviv, Israel and ride through Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, Italy, France, and England for two more months. Along the Mediterranean coast, I will be doing a considerable amount of island hopping and sea travel. I'll be flying back to the states from London on April 28th. That's pretty much the shortest possible version of the story I could possibly give. Hope you like it. Haha."
The Honors Program wishes Denis the best of luck and safe travels!

“Temple Honors is like a good personal trainer. They help you to identify your strengths and improve upon your weaknesses, and they demand more of you than you may demand of yourself. In doing so, they help you to exceed your own expectations and then set new goals for your self as you progress.”
Jeff, a past Udall Foundation Scholar, is currently a Graduate Environmental Scientist with Pennoni Associates, Inc., a multreciepientidisciplinary engineering firm based in Philadelphia. The environmental division in his company works to facilitate real estate transactions and improvements by identifying and addressing environmental issues with properties. His work involves historical research, fieldwork such as soil and groundwater sampling, and technical report writing.

Sammy Davis '08
On Monday, April 23, 2007, Honor student Samantha Davis (SCT '08) was honored as a New York Women in Communications student scholarship winner at the organization's annual 2007 Matrix Awards at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. At the beginning of the event, the scholarship winners introduced themselves at the podium by saying, "Hi, my name is [name] and I'm the next [your industry icon]" Sammy said, "Hi my name is Sammy Davis and I'm the next Bonnie Fuller." Bonnie Fuller is the current editorial director of American Media, the owner of Star Magazine, and is responsible for turning Star from a strict tabloid to a glossy magazine. She has also been EIC of Glamour and Cosmopolitan. Little did Sammy know when she approached the podium, Bonnie Fuller was sitting immediately before her at a front table. It turns out, Sammy inspired NY Post page 6 gossip columnist Cindy Adams with her Bonnie Fuller dreams. The next day, she was part of the column! Cindy Adams mentions Sammy as one of the industry's "intern youngsters." Look for the bolded BONNIE FULLER here, and you'll find the paragraph. In the above picture, Sammy is farthest to the right (and yes, that is Martha Stewart!) The 17 scholarship winners were also featured on the CBS Early Show. Click here to watch the segment- Sammy is the only blonde in the group; you can't miss her!
