"When I was in high school I knew that I wanted to get out of Texas and explore a different part of the country. During my tour of Temple, I instantly fell in love with both the school and Philadelphia. Philadelphia is such a unique city with a diverse population, which Temple accurately reflects. Temple not only has many great facilities, such as the Tech Center and gym, but it also offers a great Study Abroad program (I plan to study in Rome next fall!)"

"After coming to visit, I loved it here! The campus was beautiful and there was so much stuff to do on campus. There's a theater, places to shop, and theLiacouras Center…on Broad Street, right on campus. Whenever my friends and I are bored, we just get on the subway and go to Center City and just shop, eat, and walk around. It's really nice."

"It seems that Temple offers something for everyone, making it possible for each student to really personalize his or her program of study. In the years to come, I look forward to taking advantage of all that Temple has to offer – though it often seems like I just won’t have time to do everything that interests me! For example, Temple’s impressive array of language courses included Modern Greek and Hindi, both of which I hope to take before graduation."

"Temple has so many clubs and organizations to join, the campus life is great, and everyone here was so friendly and welcoming. I was sold on the spot but the clincher for me was the study abroad programs. I am in the school of Communications and there are specific programs offered for me in two places that I have been dying to go, Dublin and London."

"I only applied to Temple because my mother demanded it of me. However, my attitudes started to shift after a visit to Temple in early April which turned all my preconceptions of the university, the surrounding area and greater Philadelphia on their heads. I love it here!"

"I have learned so much about myself and the real life outside of the classroom from living in Philadelphia. When I came to Temple I was used to living next to a farm with cows, but not I know what its like to find my way through a city as well."

"I was stunned by how much I liked Temple. My tour guide was compelling and informative, the campus, though in a city like I wanted - well, more like needed - was very nice and felt like a real community, and the small whiff of school spirit that I detected then was plenty to convince me that this as a very good choice."

"When I got here and looked around I knew that I belonged at Temple. I just thought it was such a pretty and lively campus that had so much to offer. I fell in love with both the Tech Center and the Honors Program immediately. It also didn't hurt that Temple provided me the most for the money."

"Temple is an academically great school that I knew would prepare me for my future (mainly for medical school). I heard great things about the academics, classes, programs, etc. and I knew that getting a degree from Temple would open many doors for me."
