"After coming to visit, I loved it here! The campus was beautiful and there was so much stuff to do on campus. There's a theater, places to shop, and the Liacouras Center…on Broad Street, right on campus. Whenever my friends and I are bored, we just get on the subway and go to Center City and just shop, eat, and walk around. It's really nice."

"I fell in love with Philadelphia and Temple allowed me to experience all that the city has while staying close to my friends and family. Philadelphia allows me to get anywhere in the world from my college campus."

"I've really liked just going into Center City and exploring with my friends. We've taken the subway and just gone to see what we can find: different kinds of shops, restaurants, galleries, anything. Not going with a set plan has been fun because then we just stumble upon whatever comes our way, and it usually leads to more adventures after that."

"One day last semester I had a very significant (and very rare) amount of free time on my hands. The new spring weather was very warm and, to take full advantage, I decided I was in the mood for a boat ride. I got my $3.10 in SEPTA fair, took the subway to Penn's Landing, and hopped on a ferry for a spontaneous ride up and down the Delaware, taking in the skyline from the Camden side and having lively conversations with chatty Philly locals. I am certain such great spontaneity could only happen with such ease in this city."

"I love, and always will love, this city. The fact that I can hop on a subway, go to Center City, and be back in my dorm within an hour, is beautiful to me."

"When I need a break from school, my friends and I take the subway to a new destination and explore (safely, of course). The city does not cease to surprise and delight me. From museums and great restaurants to community service and internships, the possibilities are endless."

"The number, scope and caliber of the museums in Philadelphia is matched by few cities in the nation, The Franklin Institute, the Rodin Museum, The Academy of Natural Sciences and The upcoming relocation of the Barnes Collection to Center City. This range of institutions and the experiences and academic opportunities that I expected to get when I decided to attend Temple University."
