"I love living in 1300! This isn't technically a mandatory aspect of the Honors Program but it has been fantastic as a part of my Honors experience. Living with so many dedicated students motivates me to work harder in my classes but I also feel like I've made lasting friends here who share my passion for learning and desire to have fun."

"Honors can be a tight-knit family; usually everybody knows or has at least heard of every other person in the Program. Judging from what I have heard from friends in other residence halls, 1300 is perhaps one of the friendliest and most social places to live on campus."

"As an incoming freshman and knowing very few people coming in, the Honors LLC provided the perfect opportunity for me to meet all the other honors students by just walking down the hall. In addition, because many of the same people living in 1300 shared the same honors classes as me, it was a great way to create study buddies and study groups in order to excel academically. The friendly hallway competitions and fun honors events also provide a fun way to relax and unravel from the stress of classes. Overall, I think the honors llc is a great aspect of the honors program and I know the friendships that I created living there will last a lifetime."

"The 1300 LLC gives you the community feel of a small university, while still having the advantages of an urban university."

"Everyone in the Honors LLC really looks out for one another and we all have a strong bond. It’s like we’re a family. I love having classes with the people in my hall, and it really helps when it comes time to do homework or study for exams."

"The social aspect that comes from the Honors Program is what makes me love being in it even more. Living in the Honors LLC allows for me to eat, sleep, breathe, and spend all my time with other students in the program. There are so many activities to get involved in as well. ... It’s so much fun. I honestly don’t think I would have the same college experience if it weren’t for Temple’s Honors Program."
