"My favorite part about Honors is the people. By that I mean the community of Honors—everyone from wacky hall mates to kind classmates to genial “couch mates” in the Honors Lounge. I feel at home with these students, who help me with life: scheduling confusion to boy problems to neuroscience questions. I admire and respect these students who embody both brains and heart."

"Many of my friends since coming to college are in the Honors Program and we have so much in common. People also go out of their way to be friendly with the Honors program which makes it so much easier to make friends and ask for help."

"Temple University is so large that making friends and feeling like I belong might have been difficult for me. However, being in Honors, there is a smaller community of like-minded, yet diverse, people with whom I feel accepted."

"The Honors Program makes it easy to meet new friends and feel comfortable in an environment that can be overwhelming at first…Everyone is so passionate about what they do, and it’s incredibly exciting to meet such an outstanding group of committed people."

"My favorite part of the Honor’s Program is the people. Some of the best friends I’ve made at Temple are in the Honors Program (in fact all of them might be). Those who make up the Honors Program vary in often astounding ways, and collectively we’re a group of people that are simultaneously staunchly different and eerily similar. We come from all walks of life and all parts of the country."
