It is simply a way of bettering yourself while still getting the full college experience. "All of the advisors, and all of the students, are unique and together form the most random group of individuals you could imagine, but that’s what makes it so great.  People are playing scrabble at 3AM in the 1300 hallway,  someone can give you a henna tattoo on Monday night, and at least one teacher has a Pilates ball for you to sit on (instead of a chair) in their office.  It is completely random, everyone is always themselves, and I love it!"

"When I first arrived on campus - not only did I not know a single person at Temple, I didn't know a single person in the state of Pennsylvania!  I was just a silly Arizonan…naïve to the fact that temperatures could drop below 50 degrees.  Even though I was an outsider culturally, friends came many and quick because I was put in close proximity to many people who were (still are) like me…attractive, intelligent, chick-magnets…well, that's besides the point.  I was part of a small community within Temple.  I lived next to the same people that were in my classes.   Everybody was so friendly and open to each other. Thanks to Honors, it was easy to develop close friendships."
