Graduate Student Barnes Club Annual Conference - March 22-23, 2012, TUCC

Greetings from the James A. Barnes Club!

The Barnes Club works hard every year to encourage a sense of community among graduate students in the Temple History Department through social and professional events. At our annual graduate conference last spring, we hosted more than 30 graduate student papers representing 12 universities in four different countries.

This year, the graduate conference will be held on 22-23 March, 2013 at Temple University Center City. The Barnes Club awards prizes for the best papers in United States, European, and World History. Papers in the field of military history are considered for the Russell F. Weigley Award, sponsored by the Army Heritage Center Foundation in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Alumni are cordially invited to attend the spring conference. For more information, please contact one of our conference chairs at jabconf@temple.edu. We hope to see you there!
