Lindsay A.H. Parker specializes in the revolutionary period in French history. Her book, Writing the Revolution: A French Woman's History in Letters (Oxford, 2013), details the revolutionary experience of Rosalie Jullien, the mother of a noteworthy Jacobin, through analysis of her extensive correspondence. Parker continues to explore the history of the family in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries in her new project on the Nugues family. Parker teaches courses on women's and gender history, early modern and modern European topics, and research methods.
