Application Will Open September, 15th 2017

Temple's Pre-Med Health Scholar Program has a linkage agreement with The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University which allows students the chance to excel in the competitive, changing field of health care. The program is designed for high-achieving students who have distinguished themselves with impressive high school academic records and a demonstrated interest in the field of medicine. Applications for this program should be submitted by December of the student's senior year in high school.

The Pre-Med Health Scholar program allows consideration for provisional acceptance to The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University under a 4+4 agreement. Once accepted to Temple University, Health Scholars have the option to follow a traditional 4+4 timeline or take advantage of an accelerated option (3+4) that allows them to complete this undergraduate degree with the coursework required in the first year of professional school. Students entering Temple University as Pre-Med Health Scholars are the only pre-med students that can be considered for the Accelerated (3+4) track that allows them to complete their undergraduate degree with the coursework required in the first year of professional school.
