Pre-Med Health Scholars

Temple's Health Scholar Program allows students the chance to excel in the competitive, changing field of health care. The program is designed for high-achieving students who have distinguished themselves with impressive high school academic records and a demonstrated interest in the field of medicine. Applications for this program should be submitted by January of the student's senior year in high school.

The Health Scholars program allows consideration for provisional acceptance to Temple University School of Medicine and gives students the option to take advantage of the accelerated track (3+4) that allows them to complete their undergraduate degree with the course work required in the first year of professional school.

Accelerated Programs for:

Dentistry, Pharmacy, Podiatry, and Physical Therapy

Accelerated Programs allow students interested in Dentistry, Pharmacy, Podiatry, or Physical Therapy the option of earning both their Bachelor of Arts and Graduate degrees in a shorter period of time after sucessfully passing all courses in the first year of professional school. Applications for interested students should be submitted during their first semester at Temple University. The Accelerated Programs are designed for high-acheiving students who have distinguished themselves with impressive academic records and a demonstrated interest in their respective field.
