MSW, Masters of Social Work![]() Templeīs Masters of Social Work program offered at the Harrisburg campus is a evening and weekend program providing the opportunity for individuals to complete the requirements for the M.S.W. degree while maintaining employment. The complete M.S.W. degree may be obtained by attending Temple University Harrisburg. The program is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, the accrediting body for social work education in the United States. The Regular ProgramThe Regular Program is available in Harrisburg for individuals that have undergraduate degrees other than social work. The 60-credit program is usually completed in two years full-time or three years part-time. Applicants for the Regular Program must have an undergraduate GPA (on a four-point scale) of 3.0 overall and a 3.0 for the combined junior and senior years and a career intent appropriate to social work education The Advanced Standing ProgramThe Advanced Standing Program is available for individual with a bachelorīs degree in social work from a CSWE accredited undergraduate program within the last five years. The 34.5-credit program is usually completed in 18 months. Advanced Standing applicants must have: minimum GPA (on a four-point scale) of 3.0, a minimum GPA of 3.0 for junior and senior years and a minimum grade of B in each social work course (one exception allowed). | Huntingdon MSW ProgramHuntingdon MSW Program is a part-time program. Classes are held on the campus of Juniata College. Applications are now being accepted for Fall 2008 admission. Pottsville MSW ProgramPottsville MSW Program is a part-time program. Classes are held at the Schuylkill Community Education Center in Pottsville. The next admission cohort will be in Spring 2009. Lancaster MSW ProgramLancaster MSW Program is a part-time program.
