Graduation Information
SSA GRADUATION, COMMENCEMENT AND PARKING PASSES PICK-UP
May 5th - May 7th

9:30 – 11:30am; 2:30 – 5:30pm
PLEASE BRING THE SIGNED PHOTO RELEASE CONSENT FORM.
Note: Commencement tickets will also be available for distribution by the school at this time.
2008 Graduates, please keep in mind that we will attempt to honor your requests to the best of our ability, but there are ticket and space considerations that cannot be overlooked. Your request indicates your presence at the scheduled ceremonies.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Our photographer will begin taking pictures beginning at 3:00pm in Mitten Hall (exact location to be determined) based on your seminar classes, concentrations, etc. Upon arrival, look for an usher or signage telling you what to do and where to go. PLEASE be on time so that your picture will be taken as a class or group - you will want to have this amazing memento.
Individual photos will be available for a fee and consent forms must be on file.
REHEARSAL
SSA Graduation rehearsal, which will assist to provide you with direction for the diploma ceremony, is tentatively scheduled for May 21st in Mitten Hall. We will inform you of the time when it is confirmed. You will also be able to see the layout of the processional. Ushers that have volunteered to assist at the graduation ceremony should also be available for rehearsal.
GRADUATION ATTIRE
Caps and gowns are required at the Liacouras Center and SSA Graduation Ceremony.
Look for more information to come from the T.U. Bookstore about commencement regalia.
EXIT INTERVIEWS
Reminder – all graduating students are required to do an exit interview. Please go to the following website to process this online document: www.temple.edu/bursar. Certain holds will restrict the awarding of your degree and the mailing of your diploma. Please make sure that your accounts are up-to-date to prevent delays.
YOUR DIPLOMA
Diplomas will be mailed to the permanent address on file approximately 4-6 weeks after commencement. All students have the capability to update their address on OWLnet.
SPEAKERS
BSW & MSW speakers will be notified and all SSA students will be informed via email.

2008 SSA GRADUATION COMMITTEE
HARRISBURG GRADUATION CEREMONY
Graduation has been officially set for Saturday, May 31st. Commencement will begin promptly at 11am. The ceremony will be held in the Whitaker Center in the first floor lobby area. Everyone is welcome to attend. We will validate student parking, however, we can not validate parking for family and/or friends. Refreshments will be served following commencement. Please R.S.V.P. to Kari Howser by Friday, May 16th. She can be reached at 717-232-6400 ext. 238. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding the graduation ceremony.
