  • Central Division of National Association of Social Workers – Pennsylvania Chapter invites you to a Social Work Month Celebration: Network and Reconnect with Local Social Workers.   • Lancaster Area Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (LAVORP) is seeking volunteers. This faith-based program trains Volunteer Facilitators to support offenders and empower victims by assisting them to address the harm resulting from non-serious crimes through face to face meetings. Training for new volunteers will take place on April 14th (6:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.), April 24th, 25th, and May 2nd (8:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.) plus, April 26th and May 3rd (1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.).   • Jewish Family Services of York/Part-time: Are you experienced in working with seniors and sensitive to older adults´ needs? If you are, you may be what we´re looking for at Jewish Family Services of York. We´re a social service agency that serves both the Jewish community and the non-Jewish community alike and we´re looking for someone to work with us part-time (10 hours a week to start) as our needs for senior case management grow. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and either have a bachelor´s degree (BSW preferred) or working toward a master´s degree (MSW preferred), although we are also interested in hearing from those with associate´s degrees in an allied health field and work experience.
