Temple University Harrisburg is located in the heart of downtown Harrisburg, the home of Pennsylvania´s state government and capitol. The campus is located within the Strawberry Square complex, close to many state associations and businesses.
Location & Directions
TUH is located at 234 Strawberry Square, at the corner of Fourth and Walnut Streets. TUH occupies a portion of both the first and second floors of the Strawberry Square complex. The entrance is located on the first floor just inside the entrance to Strawberry Square located at Fourth and Walnut. A handicap entrance is located on the second floor.
From Route 81
Take the Front Street exit. Proceed south on Front Street to Market Street. Turn left on Market. Cross Second Street, and take the first left into Court Street. Enter the Walnut Street Garage. After parking in the garage, take the elevator to the Strawberry/Arcade level. Follow the directions listed below after exiting the elevator.
From Route 83
Take the 2nd Street exit. Proceed north on 2nd Street to Market Street. Turn right on Market and get into the left lane to make an immediate left on Court Street. Enter the Walnut Street Garage. After parking in the garage, take the elevator to the Strawberry/Arcade level. Follow the directions listed below after exiting the elevator.
From Route 76 (The PA Turnpike)
Take exit 19 (Route 283). Follow 283 to Route 83 South - to Harrisburg. Take the 2nd Street exit. Proceed north on 2nd Street to Market Street. Turn right on Market and get into the left lane to make an immediate left on Court Street. Enter the Walnut Street Garage. After parking in the garage, take the elevator to the Strawberry/Arcade level. Follow the directions listed below after exiting the elevator.
After exiting the elevator, proceed up the stairs and turn left. Follow the corridor through the glass automatic double doors and bear left to the escalator. Take the escalator to the first floor. Bear left around the flower shop and continue to the end of the hallway. Temple University will be on your right.

Parking:
Convenient parking is available in the Walnut Street Parking Garage at a special student rate of $1.00 for those entering the garage Monday through Friday after 4:00 p.m. This rate is available for weekend courses as well.
To qualify for the TUH student rate, students must validate their parking ticket in the front lobby. Parking tickets listing an entrance time prior to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, cannot be validated. The normal garage rate will be charged.
