Temple University Libraries Databases=581

Temple University Libraries have spent millions of dollars annually to subscribe to the most notable electronic databases to support the work of the many professional and research programs at TU. The total number of 581 databases with more content added continually is overwhelming. Students can find the databases most appropriate for their studies by using the Database Finder Link on the TU Libraries page. The total of databases is narrowed down to a more manageable number according to the subject area.

ILLiad system for Interlibrary Loans

Temple University Libraries has added a new system for borrowing books that Temple University does not own. This system is called ILLiad and is linked through the TU Libraries "Interlibrary Loan" section and through the WorldCat catalog which is in the "Other Catalogs" section. When you find an item in WorldCat that Temple does not own, you can request by clicking on "Request this item". You can also receive articles electronically from this service, if Temple does not have access. For more information, check with the librarian or click on the ILLiad icon on the TU Libraries page.

Thanks to Rebecca for putting together this wonderful resource

Intralibrary loans are easier now!

Now you can order an intralibrary loan from another Temple Library with the click of a button. No messy forms to fill, just click the REQUEST button on the record in the Diamond catalog.

Thanks to our TUH Library Assistants

The TUH LIbrary has three part-time library assistants. They are Susan Stecher, Amy Fox and our newest helper, Sue Wolfe. Carole McGee has just recently left our service. We thank her for her work with Temple. We will continue to see Carole around TUH because she works as the librarian for the U.S. Courts in the Federal Building which is only a block away!
