The College of Education announces the introduction of Blended Delivery Courses for summer IIWe will mix classroom meetings and online sessions to provide course content for pedagogy instruction. We will offer ED: 5207 Elementary and Early Childhood Environments and Learning and ED: 5254 Social Studies for Elementary Teachers in this new format for summer II. These courses will have classroom sessions with at least 50% of the meetings being online sessions. Instructors will be using two types of computer connections for delivery of the online portion, Wimba or Adobe Connect will be used to provide the online content. Instructors will use one of the two methods, not both. Blackboard will also be utilized for assignments, course documents and materials. However, with Temple University College of Education´s Accelerated Blended Certificate Program, it is as convenient and easy as ABC. Educators interested in earning a K-12 principal certification can do so in little more than a year while still working full time as a teacher or school administrator. The ABC program involves online course work during one academic year bracketed by in-class work during two summers at any of three Temple Campuses: Center City Philadelphia, Ft.
