Intensive English Language Program at Temple University Harrisburg (IELP@TUH)

 

The Intensive English Language Program offers English as a second language courses to non-native speakers of English who wish to improve their English language skills for the purpose of seeking a university degree in the United States, for employment reasons, or everyday life skills. Starting in Fall 2014, Temple University Harrisburg will offer six 7 week sessions per year. Two session in fall 2014 semester, two in spring 2015 semester and two in summer 2015. Students come from a wide range of countries and can take a full load of 5 courses in 7 week cycles or just 1 or 2 courses. Students can stay for one 7 week cycle or one semester (two 7 week cycles) or take classes for a full year. The program is noncredit. Some students may go on to Temple degree programs, some may go on to other universities/colleges and others are just attending to improve their English.
