Temple University Harrisburg is located in the heart of downtown Harrisburg in Strawberry Square. Strawberry Square is a unique mix of atrium shops, eateries and offices. Strawberry Square is a superbly-located intercity development that has become an energetic hub , vital, unique and accessible. Similarly main campus is located 1.5 miles from center city Philadelphia. Commuting students whether in Harrisburg or on main campus need to park. There are several locations for parking in and around the city.
As Temple students you will have access to all the electronic databases and resources for which Temple University holds licenses. The Library at Temple University Harrisburg has a collection of books, journals, reference works, videos and curricular materials focused in the areas of Social Service, Education, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, and the Social Sciences. Temple students have immediate access to 30 current print journal titles at TUH, as well as over 670 online databases and 1000´s of eBooks are available through the Library´s website. Library staff members provide a full range of reference, instructional, and interlibrary loan services to students and faculty at all Temple University Harrisburg class sites.
TUH students can make copies for 20 cents in the library and print in the student computer lab for free.
Computer and Wireless
TUH has a computer lab upstairs with 7 computers and an information center in the library with 30 computers. TUH is a wireless facility. Our wireless services are accessible in any part of the building to all students. All students can access the wireless with their TU Portal user id and password.
There are several parking garages throughout the downtown area. The closest and most convenient are:
Walnut Street Garage – 215 Walnut Street (24 hours 7 days a week)
Harrisburg University Garage – 326 Market Street (6:00am – 9:00pm Monday – Friday)

Fitness U is a gym located in the Strawberry Square complex. This recently renovated 8,000 square foot facility’s amenities include a complex weight training area and an extensive array of cardio equipment. Fitness U offers a discount rate for students.
Strawberry Square also has a food court with a large selection of various types of food. In addition to the food court there is a large selection of restaurants on 2nd Street and the surrounding downtown area. To name a few; Arby’s, Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, Bagel Lover’s Café, Chef Chen’s Express, Gingerbread Man, Sakura Tokyo Express, Santa Fe Mexican Grille, Subway, Taco Bell, and Two Brothers Pizza.
