TEMPLE UNIVERSITY FRESHMAN YEAR
IN HARRISBURG

The Temple University Harrisburg Freshman Year program (FYTH) offers you the opportunity to complete a full year of General Education courses in Harrisburg. As a Harrisburg campus freshman, you will enter in the fall semester, take classes through spring and summer and complete your remaining three years at Temple’s Philadelphia or Ambler campuses. Temple's standard admissions requirements and tuition rates apply.

PREPARE FOR A SUCCESSFUL UNDERGRADUATE EXPERIENCE.

  • You’ll have an extra year to live and work near home while completing your first year as a full time Temple student.
  • A three-day intensive class schedule and four-day weekend leave time for you to balance academics with employment.
  • First year course work will lay the foundation for your academic experience in a highly supportive environment.
  • You’ll be exposed to relationships with fellow students and have the opportunity to connect with university staff prior to arriving on Main or Ambler campuses.
  • Philadelphia and Ambler Campus visits will give you a taste of what Temple’s urban and suburban settings have to offer.
