Important Financial Aid Information for Graduate Students
Step 1Fill out an Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.FAFSA.ed.gov Step 2Go to www.temple.edu/sfs and select Forms from the left hand side of the page. Select the appropriate form for your status, Graduate or Non Matriculated. Non matriculated students must complete the Non-matriculated Student FFELP Eligibility Exception form (This form must be signed by an advisor) You may fax the form to Anne Eckert @ FAX (717) 221-1634 Step 3Complete the online Entrance Counseling Session online at http://www.fc.campusoncall.com/cgi-bin/home.pl?FromAdmin=1&campus=temple. This is a government requirement when borrowing Federal loan assistance. The funds will be returned if the Entrance Interview is not complete. Step 4Go to www.Studentloans.gov and complete and sign the DLP Master Promissory Note. The application must be signed electronically using your PIN#. The same PIN# you used to sign your FAFSA Step 5Check TuPortal Self-Service Banner. Your financial aid award will be updated on the Banner System. No Access to Banner call Temple Help Desk (215) 204-8000. Third Party BillingIf your employer is paying your tuition up front, they must write a letter verifying that they will pay the tuition in full upon receiving a bill. The letter must be dated, signed and verified on company letter head. The letter should be sent to Temple University Harrisburg, 234 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg PA 17101 to the attention of Shellie R. Smith, Student Financial Services Specialist. Note: If your employer offers tuition reimbursement, this is NOT 3rd Party Billing. You are responsible to pay your tuition up front and your employer will reimburse you. The school will not hold your bill until you receive the funding from your employer. Enrollment VerificationIf you need correspondence verifying your enrollment at Temple University Harrisburg, you can create this letter by logging onto TuPortal and accessing Self-Service Banner.
