Common Cognitive and Psychiatric Diseases in the Elderly and Related Legal Issues: An Overview

This course will provide an overview of the common presenting signs and symptoms, etiology, assessment, treatment and legal interventions, when needed, of cognitive and emotional disorders of aging including dementia, delirium, Alzheimer´s Disease, depression, generalized anxiety disorder and other related disorders. The course will be taught from an interdisciplinary perspective including nursing and law.

SOCIAL WORKERS:
