Child and Adolescent Mental Health

This course will provide an introduction to child and adolescent mental health, with a review of the nature and prevalence and an emphasis on the treatment and management of child and adolescent mental health. The course will focus on practice skills and strategies, exploring tools to assess MH disorders of children and adolescents and use of case studies that demonstrate the complexities facing children with mental health issues (and their families) to arrive at best practice strategies to treat.
