LAN Administrator

The working hours for this position are Monday through Thursday, from 10am - 7pm and Friday from 8:30am - 5:30pm.

The LAN Administrator provides project management, installation and maintenance of technology (e.g., computer, video, telecommunication, web technology, audio and other digital media) hardware and software; development of software, and technical support for both the administrative offices and the academic programs located at Temple Harrisburg. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining Temple Harrisburg website, advising on technology planning and purchases, and supervising student workers. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor´s degree and at least two years of directly related experience in web site design, development and maintenance. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and LAN based applications.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse population of students, faculty and staff.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills to assess problems with hardware and software.
  • Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot distance learning equipment.
  • Experience with communication software such as Skype and related applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of web development software.

Full Time Abstinence Education Program Manager

Job Qualifications:
This grant funded position provides oversight and management of daily activities of Temple Harrisburg Title V Abstinence Education Project. The position will be involved with all aspects of the program and trainings, including program design, planning, review and implementation of training programs. The incumbent will also monitor the fidelity of the implementation of the education program at community based agencies. Performs other duties as assigned.
