Research:Dr. Baker's current research concerns the utilization of health services in a rural part of southern Honduras . This research focuses on trying to improve the understanding of the spatial patterns of utilization for health services in this rural, developing world location. The delivery of health care is dependent on many factors, including the capacities of the providers, the needs and capacities of the patients, and the characteristics of the region within which the patients live.
