Parents'
Information
As your son or daughter enters Temple University, they may feel
overwhelmed by such a large university in the 5th biggest city in the
United States. Being involved with a Greek organization can help your
son or daughter find where they belong, and develop strong bonds of
brotherhood or sisterhood within that organization. Greeks are an
important part to not only Temple University's community but to the
surrounding Philadelphia area as well. The members of the fraternities
and sororities can be found doing community service in neighborhoods
nearby Temple University or volunteering at local events.
Costs of Greek Participation
Each organization has their own financial obligations that need to be
met every semester or for the entire year. The amount depends on several
factors, such as insurance fees, programming, and national dues. For
more specific information, speak directly to chapter representatives.
