Cell Biology/Certificate in Business, M.S.

Admission Requirements and Deadlines
Application Deadline:

Fall: January 15

Spring: September 1

Once all documents that make up the completed application are received by the Department, the application is considered in detail by the Anatomy and Cell Biology Graduate Studies Committee.

From whom: Letters of recommendation should be obtained from college/university faculty members familiar with academic competence.

Bachelor's Degree in Discipline/Related Discipline:

Yes. A degree with a strong background in biology and related sciences.

Statement of Goals:

 

Standardized Test Scores:

The GRE is required. 50th percentile or better.

The GRE Subject Exam is required. Biological sciences and/or chemistry.

Minimum TOEFL score or range of scores needed to be accepted:
575 on the paper-based test or 230 on the computer-based test. Applicants who score below 600 on the paper-based test or 250 on the computer-based test will be required to take and pass a remedial English course during their first semester at Temple University.

Resume:

A resume is required.

Students are able to complete the degree program through classes offered before and after 4:30 p.m.

About the Program

The goal of this program is to train students for biomedical research management positions in biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Time Limit for Degree Completion: 3 years
