Gov. Corbett's budget proposes deep cuts in education

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett's budget proposal, presented to the General Assembly in March, recommends a cut of more than half in Commonwealth appropriation for Temple. If approved, the reduction would be the largest decline in Commonwealth support since the state-related system was created in the 1960s.
