Temple's Commonwealth funds secured for the next year
July 14, 2010On July 7, Pennsylvania's budget for fiscal year 2010-11 was signed into law by Gov. Rendell after being passed by the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and State Senate. Also last week, Gov. Rendell signed House bill 2294, Temple's annual Commonwealth appropriation, which will provide Temple with $172 million over the next year. Read More
Senate unanimously approves Temple appropriation
June 30, 2010Temple's Commonwealth appropriation was unanimously approved by the state Senate on Wednesday, by a vote of 50-0. As of late Wednesday afternoon, the appropriation only needed the signature of Gov. Edward Rendell to be finalized. The House approved the appropriation earlier this spring.Read More
