We also have an opportunity to write to our Congressmen about lowering

about. They are due to TSG by February 28th but you can type up a letter
and send it to our TSG rep, Peggy, who will then bring it to the next TSG
meeting. You can e-mail her with a word attachment at
pegasis@temple.edu. Please do this by
February 23!!
Next Tuesday, the 20th, we will have

representative from Teach for America will be there to speak about the
organization and how you can get involved. Also, the final deadline to
apply is this Sunday. If anyone has questions about the application
process, you can e-mail the representative, Whitney, at

I thank the members who came out last Saturday to the induction ceremony. While it
turned out to be successful, there were more absentees than attendees. This
semester and hopefully
from here on out, this chapter has every intention of becoming a more active
organization on campus. However, we can not do this without the help of the
members. There are over 300 members in this chapter, and the officers need
your support and active participation in order to fulfill our goal of
becoming a well-known organization. For those of you who attended the
ceremony and offered your participation, we greatly appreciate it and will
be looking forward to working with you very soon. For those of you who would
like to participate in future Golden Key events, do not hesitate to
email us at templegk@gmail.com with
any suggestions. We will be planning an induction ceremony for the
spring, sometime in May, so we hope you can all attend that!

campus at 13th and Montgomery.

The semester is nearing an end but there is one last activity you can
participate in to help our chapter reach our community service hours.
Volunteers are needed to
help with the annual children's Christmas party sponsored by Campus Police.
Gift wrapping will occur in the afternoon on Thursday and Friday, December 7
and 8, at Campus Police headquarters, 1101 Montgomery Avenue. Volunteers
will also be needed to help on Saturday, December 9, starting at 9 am, for
the actual Christmas party at Mitten Hall. If you are interested, please
e-mail us at templegk@gmail.com so that we know how many people to sign up.
We also have a date for our induction ceremony -- January 13, 2007. Once we get more information, we will let you know!
