You will be billed separately for Housing (from SCT) and Tuition (from Temple University). Your deposit check will be used to initiate course registration, and Temple University will bill you for the remaining tuition charges once you are accepted.

Transportation to and from Los Angeles, whether by plane or car. Transportation within Los Angeles, either the cost of owning or of renting a car for the summer, Meals, Medical Insurance, Personal Spending Money.
Yes. Contact the Student Financial Services - Financial Aid Office to meet with a counselor who can review the amount of support you can receive.
Also, SCT students are encouraged to apply for the Lew Klein Excellence in Media Scholarship.
Most internships are unpaid. Some however may offer a stipend or hourly rate.
It is not recommended that you take part-time jobs during the program. Your focus needs to be on the 24-40 hours you may be interning, and the required course assignments while you are in residence.
All of our Los Angeles Interns live at the Oakwood Toluca Hills apartment complex. The Oakwood Complex is complete with furnished apartments, swimming pools, Jacuzzis, workout rooms, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. Housing charges include all kitchen essentials, bed linens, and towels.
Housing Deposits are held as Security Deposits until the Intern Program has concluded, and Oakwood inspects the apartments. Once Oakwood signs off on your apartment, your deposit will be returned by the end of August.
The short answer is that “Yes, you do.” While several studios (Warner Bros, Universal, Disney) and network offices (NBC) are located in Burbank close to where you will reside, many major film and television studios, development offices, public relations companies and advertising agencies are located some distance away from the Oakwood complex in Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica. As public transportation in Los Angeles is limited and can be time-consuming, students are strongly encouraged to bring or rent automobiles. Students have done the program without a car, but their choices of internship sites were limited as a result.
Yes. Students are obligated to do at least one internship, but many if not most take on additional internships to build the professional credits on their resume or to get additional experience in related fields.
