Summary of Requirements for the Major

• Prerequisites: Italian 0051, 0052, or equivalent placement with a minimum grade of C.
  Required courses: 10 courses, including Italian C061, Italian 0062, and Italian W250. Two cognate courses in English may be accepted as part of the required courses with the written permission of the faculty advisor.
  
• Note: Students who place out of Italian C061 will need one additional elective; those who place out of Italian 0062 will need two additional electives.
