Summary of Requirements for the Major in German

• Prerequisites: German 0051and 0052 or equivalent placement with a minimum grade of C.
  
• Required courses: ten courses in German.
  
• Students who place out of C061 will need one additional elective; those who place out of 0062 will need two additional electives.

Note: Up to two upper-level courses outside of the Department will count as electives if they relate to the major as approved in writing by the faculty advisor.
