French is offered by Temple University’s Department of French, German, Italian and Slavic. Students can earn a major, minor or certificate in French, or simply take courses in French language, literature, or cinema.

Students taking French at Temple have the following options to choose from:

  • Major in French
  • Double Major in French with another Major
  • Minor in French
  • Foreign Language Certificate in French

Any one of these options will prepare you with the tools you will need to succeed in an increasingly multicultural society.
