Politics of Immigration

     This course is designed to introduce the student to the issues associated with immigration from both a US and international historical and contemporary perspective.  Emphasis will be focused on the theory, public policy and philosophical issues that are associated with this area of inquiry.

     You are expected to monitor and review a daily newspaper such as the NY Times, Washington Post or other major online news source. You should be prepared to discuss the material related to this class each week in class.
