A Note on How to Read
a Syllabus in This Collection:
Each of the syllabi
are stored here in at least two different formats, sometimes in three.
RTF - Rich Text Format - retains all of the formatting and can
be opened by any major word processor such as MS Word, or Corel WordPerfect.
The Text-Only version does not retain any formatting, but can be
downloaded quickly or can be viewed directly in your Web browser without
the need of a word processor or plug-ins. Finally, some of the syllabi
also come in PDF - Portable Document Format. PDF retains all of
the formatting without the need of a word processor. However, in order
to view the document, you need a free PDF viewer, available for download from Adobe
Acrobat. If you have been using the web for a while, you may already
have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer. |
