Once a project is developed and estimated, University approvals
are required for a project to proceed. Renovation and new construction
projects that are estimated in the $50,000 to $300,000 range require Presidential
approval. Projects above $300,000 require approval by the Board of Trustees.
Similarly, projects which require external architectural and/or engineering
design services in the $10,000 to $50,000 range require Presidential approval;
those in excess of $50,000 require Board approval. The approval process
is initiated by submission of a Capital
Expenditure Request Form (please review the instructions
for completing this form) - The Procedure is as follows:
Please Note: Any projects requiring Board approval must be received by the Director of Planning & Design a minimum of two weeks in advance of the Board Meeting. |
