Engineering Services is responsible for operation, preventive maintenance, and replacement of building mechanical systems, generation of steam and chilled water, and maintenance and repair of utility transformation and distribution systems. The department strives to maintain a secure and comfortable environment and uninterrupted delivery of utilities to our buildings and outdoor spaces. These services, many of which are delivered 24 hours per day, 7 days a week are furnished by dedicated mechanics and technicians engaged in building system operation and maintenance, steam and chilled water plant operation, refrigeration, HVAC and security systems repair and replacement. Work is initiated by preventive maintenance schedules, client initiated work requests, the repairs email box and emergency dispatch.
