Project Description: Design and construction of a new Medical School building that will provide a premier teaching and research setting for the next 50 years. This project is to be funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Temple University. The new building has three components: research, academic, and support. The research component is comprised of research space and a central animal facility. The academic aspect of the building will house a new health sciences library, gross anatomy space, clinical skills suite, and teaching spaces that include auditoria, classrooms and conference rooms. The support areas will include academic and administrative offices, and public spaces including a commons area, food area, and shared public lounge areas. |
