Description:
The Forum at the Liacouras Center is a 10,000 seat state-of-the-art arena, funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Temple University. This provides a mid-sized venue that can accommodate audiences ranging from 1,000 to 11,000. The building is the home of Temple Men and Women's Basketball teams, a full range of concerts, dramatic presentations, University athletic and convocation events, family shows, sports, etc. The Esther Boyer Theater at the Liacouras Center is a small theater setup of 1,000 to 5,000 seats for more intimate presentations. The Independence Blue Cross Recreation center (IBC) is a 38,000 square foot, two level facility for students with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, indoor track (above the Forum), aerobics and martial arts centers, racquetball courts and more. |
