 Welcome

The Enterprise Reporting Services (ERS) group is currently involved in implementing and maintaining a University-wide reporting system based on the IBM Cognos reporting tool. IBM Cognos is used to access data from the Operational Data Store (ODS) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) modules that are part of the SunGard Banner application suite.

Currently, ERS is supporting Cognos reporting for the Finance, HR, Student, and Advancement modules.

Cognos training is available and online support materials are continually developed and maintained.

The legacy reporting system, based in Focus and WebFocus, is also being managed by ERS during the transition period from the mainframe based system to Banner.
