I am interested in groundwater flow and solute transport modeling. Currently, I am working on Alaska Prince William Sound (APWS) beach Exxon Valdez oil Spill project. Mainly, I am working on collecting samples (sediment, water, and tracer), analyzing and simulating both groundwater flow and solute transport. I am using SUTRA (a model for saturated –unsaturated variable density groundwater flow with solute or energy transport), which is developed by USGS scientist and ARGUSONE (user interface for SUTRA) softwares for simulating groundwater flow and solute transport.

This work, therefore, will contribute the effect of beach hydrodynamics for lingering of oil in APWS beaches.
