Personal Profile

Research:
My research is investigating how dispersed oil particles behave in irregular deeps sea waves. The transport mechanisms and droplet breakage/coalescence are modeled by coupling wave physics and fluid mechanics with Monte Carlo particle tracking methods. Another project using the wave tanks at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography (Halifax, NS) and Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA) to collect data for oil transport from breaking waves. I also do side research in passive particle filtration, energy policy, 232U issues in bred 233U and (a,n) reactions.
